Meg Palisoc received a 2003 Golden Apple Award from the District Intern Program of the Los Angeles Unified School District. She was formerly a first grade and third grade teacher at 66th Street Elementary School in Los Angeles, California. Prior to entering the classroom, she served as the Director of Engineering Career Services and the Engineering Mentoring Program Coordinator at the University of Southern California. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Education degree in College Student Personnel Services from USC. In addition to her regular teaching assignment, she was a Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Co-Chair and an Academic English Mastery Program (AEMP) Grade-level Standards Achievement Team (GSAT) teacher as well as a Writing Coach for her school. She also serves on the Board of the Alpha Epsilon Chapter of Phi Delta Kappa International. She may be contacted at megpalisoc@gmail.com. Randy Palisoc was the Founder and Director of the Title III Program at 24th Street Elementary School in Los Angeles, California. The school's Title III program was a unique project funded by a three-year Program Development and Implementation grant with the U.S. Department of Education. The program used technology to help English Learners in grades one through five acquire English language skills. Prior to entering administration, he served as a third and fourth grade teacher. Randy holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from USC as well as a Master of Education degree and administrative credential via the Principal Leadership Institute at UCLA.
